Let’s help people in need after storm Martinho

As you all know, Storm Martinho caused major damage last week—trees fell, roofs were torn off, and many homes were affected. While most people are already working to clean up and repair their properties, some don’t have the resources or support to recover on their own.
We spoke with fire brigades and Protecção Civil, and they told us they are coming across many people in need—families with little money, elderly individuals, and isolated people without a network of friends to help. These people could really use a helping hand to clear their gardens, remove debris, and do small repairs.
That’s where we come In!
We’re putting together a volunteer group to help these people by removing fallen trees, clearing rubble, and making small repairs. So if you have a wheelbarrow, a chainsaw, a broom, a pair of gloves or just a really big heart, please join our volunteer group!
Once we have enough volunteers, we’ll coordinate with local fire brigades, Protecção Civil, and city councils to connect us with people who need our help.
Count on spending one morning or afternoon helping out.
Let’s come together and make a difference!
